About the Artist…
Hi there! My name is Leah, and I am the artist behind Anatomy of a Sketch.
I am a Midwestern 20-something and have been drawing for as long as I can remember.
But, I didn’t start to take my art seriously till I was about eighteen. After that, I took drawing classes at my local community college and started practicing with different mediums such as charcoal, different levels of graphite, and branching into digital art.
I love drawing in different styles such as realistic profiles, anime, Disney, and Marvel comic-inspired characters both freehand and from reference photos. I am also skilled at creating realistic portraits with digital paint.
My goal with Anatomy of a Sketch is to teach you everything I have learned about drawing and help you to get better at drawing too.
